Kirm Ramblings: Vol. 1

musemarket This website makes me deeply nostalgic, even by simply browsing it. Makes me sort of forget how much I took for granted back in the day. It gives me hope, seeing as this website has been hosted since 2009, that other websites can indeed survive the test of time. Albeit, this website is probably more cost-effective to run versus a huge platform like tumblr. People keep undermining how big Tumblr's userbase is, and how long people are willing to stick with a 'dying' website-- Though. The rational part of me knows tumblr won't just crash and 404 forever tomorrow, or even this year. If it does, it won't be the end of the world.
Unprompted Kirm history lesson; I started writing on tumblr in 2014. I have no idea how I found out about tumblr or why I latched onto rping, but I wrote my OC that I made when I was 12 that I still wince at because she's aged really badly for the current internet climate. Funnily enough, the Wreck It Ralph rpc of all things took me in with open, happy arms. Then, in 2015 I wrote my first canon muse, Robotnik. Specifically the classic one from Generations. Then the muse that would sort of become my calling card, Kirby. I made tons upon tons of blogs seeing what would and would not stick. I finally made a multimuse like a sane person in 2017 and have been content on the website since. Yes, I dealt with quite a few... Interesting characters OOC, because the internet WILL chuck the oddest people at you who will indeed manage to traumatize you emotionally! Funny, that.
For now, I'm lurking, will probably use my remaining icons for my muses. I'm thinking bare minimum, I'll add Anton, Satan, Jae, Kirby, Annalynn, Peppino, Man... And go from there. But that'll be in the far future.
